Airline campaigns always intrigue. How can you show an airline experience? I think it’s quite a challenge to translate the excitement of flying into an engaging campaign. Recently, Air France and Emirates released their newest campaigns.
Air France: France is in the Air
The slogan is very to the point, no false expectations here! Their campaign images: super models. Dutch proud Bette Franke pictured with the Eiffeltower, Ali Michael and Shanina Shaik all striking exotic poses and representing different destinations. It reminds me a little of the old Joop! book advertisement and PanAm ads.
What do you think? Do these images inspire you to hop on board and fly away with Air France?
All images were shot by photographers Sofia Sanchez en Mauro Mongiello.
Pele versus Ronaldo: who’s more famous
Emirates latest campaign shows the exclusivity of Emirates, combined with the sportivity of two famous sportsman. I must admit, the campaign reminded me of the Turkish Airlines Kobe versus Messi and their Selfie game. Emirates wants to show how two world dominating football players connect with their fans during their flight and also the game. Smart thinking with the worldcup football in Brazil coming up.
What do you think of the Emirates campaign?
