De Pijp Highlights: COTTONCAKE

Every wednesday, Anne will share the finest hotspots in Amsterdam’s most upcoming area: de Pijp. The best neighbourhood to choose from a wide selection of ethnic food as well as more high-end bars and restaurants. She will help you discover your new favorites out of all the hidden treasures that de Pijp has to offer.

COTTONCAKE

Your day in the Pijp must include a stop at COTTONCAKE. Located in a beautiful authentic building, the women behind COTTONCAKE were able to create a very laidback and relaxed ambiance.

Cafe

Gotten hungry for a delicious lunch? COTTONCAKE is a great place to catch up with friends over a cup of tea or a coffee. They serve local products and great coffee. Their coffee is made using Two For Joy’s super fresh beans, roasted just around the corner in Amsterdam. Their sandwiches are served on organic spelt bread from bakery Brood. A ‘tea sommelier’ from Evermore selects their range of teas and the Fentimans sodas they serve, have been brewed with all natural ingredients.
