Fendi plans to unveil an exhibition entitled “The Glory of Water” during couture week in Paris. It will showcase Karl Lagerfeld’s photographs of Rome’s most striking fountains, including the Trevi, which Fendi has pledged to restore, along with the Quattro Fontane and others, as part of a four-year effort.
Lagerfeld, who figures he has visited the Eternal City at least 740 times, will also unveil a restored version of an 18-minute fashion film his friend Jacques de Bascher shot in 1977 to present Fendi’s ready-to-wear and fur collection.
