Victoria Beckham’s First Store
Victoria Beckham opened her first-ever boutique this week on Dover street in London where she is expressing her unique vision and design on the three floors shop. The flagship store is designed by multi-award-winning London-based architect Farshid Moussavi and it does not come as a surprise that the boutique is reminiscent of a contemporary art gallery. Farshid Moussavi is a professor of Architecture at Harvard University and designed, among many other things, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Cleveland, Ohio. Despite the modern touches and the exhibitional framework of the store, Victoria wants everyone to experience a warm and welcoming feeling when visiting the store, whether you are there shopping for the new autumn/winter collection or just admiring the architecture. The eye catching interior complements Victoria Beckham’s collection of ready-to-wear, accessories, eyewear and denim. Also a small leather goods collection, made with soft calfskin leather, is introduced for the first time at the opening of the store.
Hermes Window Display in Shanghai
The Hermes Maison in Shanghai made its debut earlier this month, marking their opening with the fiftieth anniversary of establishment of Sino Franco diplomatic relations and the Chinese Year of the Horse. For this grand opening Dutch artist Levi van Veluw was invited to craft the window displays of the Maison. After four weeks collaborating with 16 Chinese craftsmen, Levi van Veluw presented the journey of a horse in wood veneer. The handmade displays were frozen moments of the ‘Hermes’ horse starting at a French atelier, stretching across exotic continents, and finally arriving in China. The craftsmanship is an artistic representation of the relationship between Hermes and China. At the Hermes Maison in Shanghai the cultural elements of the East and the West are brought together and celebrated in a modern and a historic way.

Chanel Rouge Allure Gloss
The new Chanel gloss is an extension of the Rouge Allure lipsticks, introducing 11 new shades where luster is combined with the rich pigment of a lipstick. Due to the intense shine, the lips appear plumper and smoother. Moreover the new gloss offers exceptional comfort with the help of ingredients such as Sappan wood, matcha green butter and Vitamin E. Although the packaging should not be a deciding factor when one purchases beauty products, the new Chanel creation with its black case with pure lines and a click is simply irresistible stylish. Starting October 3rd you can pick your new Chanel Rouge Allure gloss that will accompany you into autumn.
