New Luxury Restaurant: Biblioteka

We’ve already mentioned Bob Bob Ricard restaurant, and the amazing experience Sabine had there, on the blog before. Now the owner of Bob Bob Ricard, Leonid Shutov, has paid £15million to open London’s largest luxury restaurant, Biblioteka. Leonid Shutov is going all out, the 20 000 square feet space will have a vintage Champagne bar, host 250 diners and offer private dinner experience for additional 75 guests. The restaurant will serve English classics, Russian delicacies (such as pelmeni and vareniki), and the largest choice of caviar in London. Moreover, Leonid Shutov promises to have the finest wine cellar in London, with over 100 vintages of Château d’Yquem (and more). Biblioteka will open its doors in January 2015.

Chp…? at The Fondation Louis Vuitton

since recently, Chp…? has an exclusive selling point in Paris at The Fondation Louis Vuitton in Bois de Boulogne. The $143 million Fondation Louis Vuitton was designed by Frank Gehry, with the goal to support and to promote contemporary artistic creation. The extraordinary building, which looks like a boat and sails, opened its doors to public last month October. It is a cultural institution and an amazing place for chp..? to display and sell their jewelry.

Balmain Coming to London

The haute couture fashion house Balmain has been revived since Olivier Rousteing was promoted to creative director in 2011. Now, in 2015 Olivier Rousteing is set to open Balmain’s first European flagship store in London. Given that London is an important city for Balmain and has a loyal clientele, it was a natural choice for the house to settle there. The store will be located in South Audley Street in the heart of London’s Mayfair district. The flagship store has been designed by Joseph Dirand, the 200 square meters space is a mix of classical English design with nuances of French elegance. Coming January you will be able to shop the Fall/Winter 2014 collection, fragrances, and the Resort 2015 collection (which you can pre-order from Mid-November).

Romeo Beckham for Burberry


The adorable Romeo Beckham, son of David and Victoria Beckham, stars in the new holiday campaign of the British luxury brand Burberry. The 12-year-old plays cupid in the four-minute short film called “From London with Love”. Inspired by the golden age of cinematic musicals, the film is set to “The Way That I Live” by Ed Harcourt, and features 50 dancers who tell the story of romance. Romeo shows his impressive dance moves in Burberry’s trench coat(s) against the backdrop of snowy London.

Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen X StyleMint

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen return to the fashion scene with an affordable jewelry line (all priced below $40!). For the launched collection the twin sisters collaborated with StyleMinth, the online shopping portal they co-founded in 2011. The collection includes beautiful necklaces, hand-chains, earrings, rings, bangles and (small) clutches. Their collection, a statement of minimalistic design, allows for the pieces to be mixed and matched, but also worn on their own with statement.
