Julia Robert X Givenchy

Julia Roberts, the mega star from Hollywood, is back in the picture. This time starring in the Givenchy spring/summer 2015 campaign. It was a big surprise for many that the very private star would come out as a muse for the French design house. Riccardo Tisci, the artistic director of Givenchy, wanted for this upcoming campaign to represent a woman who is more mature, beautiful, talented, but also unpretentious. So the choice was easily made, Julia Roberts was the perfect fit. In the images we see a play with femininity and masculinity, and Julia Roberts hiding her smile. Watch out for the ads in Vogue and other magazines around March next year.

Floral Pop-Up Shop at Calvin Klein

Calvin Klein customers can now shop unique floral arrangements by Lauren Messelian at pop-up floral shop inside the Madison Avenue flagship store. This is not their first collaboration, as Lauren Messelian regularly works on the floral installations at the Calvin Klein’s store as well as those in the office and at events. She transforms flowers into living sculptures, demonstrating the power of minimalism in design with elements from nature. The floral art will be available until 24th of December on the main floor of the store.

Balmain Spring/Summer Campaign

We have yet to unwrap our Christmas presents but are already being introduced to the summer collection in most luxury stores. This is how things work in fashion, so it comes as no surprise that we get previous here and there from various Spring/Summer campaigns. The Balmain’s spring/summer 2015 campaign caught our eye. The new ad campaign features Christa Cober, Joan Smalls, Isabeli Fontana, Adriana Lima and Rosie Huntington Whiteley in provocative poses with just-got-out-of-the-shower-hair. The new collection presents a modern take on couture. The ads will be featured in leading fashion magazines starting February.
