For all the yacht appreciates, we introduce to you a design Lobanov Design and BMT Nigel Gee: Star. It all started with a doodle on a napkin and an exchange of thoughts, an aim to create a yacht that reflects modern architecture, product and car design. The concept vessel is designed to be a private yacht, or more precisely to be the world’s most exclusive hotel. Although the name already gives it away, the yacht is shaped like the top half of a star and due to its design it can rotate within its own length to follow the arc of the sun. Star has more than 3500 square meters of interior space, is 132m in length and over 60m in height. Moreover the yacht features eight decks with four lifts that take you, among other floors, to the sub-marine viewing area that has a range of visibility of over 20 km.
Gramovox Bluetooth Gramophone
We like new gadgets, especially those that come with a touch of old-time class. Vintage meets modern aesthetics, inspired by the 1920s horn speaker – The World’s first Bluetooth gramophone. The gramophone was designed by Pavan Bapu, a creative technologist/entrepreneur and Jeff Parrish, a design engineer and craftsman. Gramovox is little more stylish than your regular audio speaker and designed to allow people to engage with music in another way. Pavan and Jeff selected the best metal-smiths, wood-craftsmen, and electronics manufactures to produce a bold design with vintage sounds. The Gramovox has a 15-hour battery life and works on Bluetooth with a 9-meter range. The wooden base comes in either dark walnut or light maple wood. The Bluetooth gramophone is designed to promote the communal feeling, everyone getting together listening to music and being on the same wave.
