NH Hoteles introduced a new concept with nhow hotels. Open since 2010 in Berlin and Milan, the lifestyle concept turned out to be a huge succes. Exciting news for the Dutch Hotel scene: in november 2013 a nhow hotel in Rotterdam opens up! The 4* hotel concept focuses on an exceptional stay for an affordable price, targeting business travelers and design and lifestyle lovers.
nhow Hotel Rotterdam
The nhow Rotterdam will be the biggest building in the Netherlands and famous Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas is responsible for the design. The lifestyle influence is based on the location; Milan is targeted with fashion, Berlin with music and Nhow Rotterdam will be themed Dutch art & design. With this theme, the hotel is going to be an exposition area for upcoming talent and some parts of the interior are constantly changing. The Nhow hotel pay-off ‘Elevate your stay’ perfectly connects with the enrichment trend in travel, even in the hotel there is a need of expanding knowledge and experiencing local influences. The hotel will be located at the Wilhelminapier, close to the famous Hotel New York and restaurant Las Palmas curated by famous Dutch cook Herman den Blijker. I’m sure the Nhow hotel elevate the Wilhelminapier even more!
My Nhow experience
I’ve stayed in the Nhow Berlin hotel and it was one of the best hotel stays in my travel history. Trying to look through the pink colors, I’m not a girly girl and sweet colors are not really my thing. But the hotel location, the room, the breakfast and the service were amazingly good for a 4* hotel. I didn’t rent the guitar to play with, but ordered in-room dining which was amazing, worked in the lobby, strolled outside watching the old wall parts and exploring the area with the pretty red bridge and the lovely cigar bar around the corner.
