Mocktails

Have you heard about mocktails? They taste as good as cocktails, but they don’t contain any alcohol. Perfect for when you have an important workday the day after. Here are some of the best mocktail recipes, to spice up your weekdays.

Mojito

Ingredients for 14 servings: 3 cups of water, 1.5 cup of sugar, 2 cups of mint leaves, 2 cups of of lime sherbet, 1 cup lime juice, 1 cup water, 8 cups of soda, lime slices

Combine 2 cups water and the sugar in a microwave-safe bowl; heat in microwave on High for 5 minutes. Stir the mint into the water and let stand for 5 minutes. Strain and discard the mint leaves from the syrup; set aside. Stir the lime sherbet, lime juice, and 1 cup water together in a large pitcher until well combined. Pour the mint-infused syrup into the mixture. Add club soda and stir. Serve over ice. Garnish with lime slices.

Pina Colada

Ingredients for 2 servings: 1 cup of ice, 1.25 pineapple juice, 0.5 cup of milk, 0.5 cup of heave cream, 2 tablespoons white sugar

In an electric blender, blend ice, pineapple juice, milk, cream, and sugar. Blend until smooth and serve cold.

Bloody Mary

Ingredients for 1 serving: 1 ounce of tomato juice, 1 dash lemon juice, 0.5 tablespoon of worcestershire sauce, 2 drops of tobasco sauce

Fill a large wine glass with ice. Add tomato juice, then the rest of the ingredients. Stir and garnish with a wedge of lime.
