Every trip requests specific items to pack. In the Packlist articles I share a sneak peek of what’s in my suitcase for that specific trip. Today I’m heading to Newcastle with my mom. We’re taking the DFDS Seaways boat from IJmuiden to combine the relaxed atmosphere of a cruiseship with all its facilities, and a citytrip to spend some time together.
Newcastle has been on my bucketlist for ages, exactly for the combination of cruising and citytripping, but also because the city is known for many different museums, good shopping and pretty architecture. Only not so nice thing; rainy Brittain. So we’d better be prepared!
