This international chain of bakeries has many venues in the world, especially in California, but also one in the Pijp area in Amsterdam. They are open seven days a week from 08.00 a.m. till 06.00 p.m. The staff is very friendly, what doesn’t always happen in Amsterdam. At le Pain Quotidien they still bake their bread the way it should be, creating a delicious brown loaf with a firm crust. Order an amazing French breakfast with this delicious bread and phenomenal eggs with a coffee on the side or try the homemade chocolate spread (it’s divine!). All breads, croissants and pastries are freshly baked and the chefs offer a huge choice of small and bigger dishes and cakes.
