The stations of the North-South metro line in Amsterdam will be worth a visit when their finished, because they’ll be decorated with some great art. This weekend you can get a preview at the special pop-up expo.
Amsterdam activity
A total of 23 artists were selected for this project. The area’s around each stations have their own characteristics and all stations have their own type of users. Therefore every artist was assigned to one station, to perfectly the different perspectives per station. The words that play a leading role in the art are: neighborhood, city, country, Europe, world. The Expo will run until April 14th and is open from 12 noon to 20.00 pm everyday.
